Will “Willy” Baciano joined UFCW Local 1500 on January 17th, 1971, and has been a part of this union for 55 years. You can find Willy in Stop & Shop working in the Grocery Department. Will has served as a pillar in his community, having watched his customers grow up to have kids of their own that also patron Stop & Shop.
Willy is known by his peers to be a friendly, and helpful person. Not only does he attend the UFCW Local 1500 Bowl-a-Thon, he ensures his fellow members also attend with him. Will has no problems talking with customers, and his fellow members. As noted by Shop Steward, Wendy Ireland “Willy has friends in every town from Westchester County to Duchess County.”
